Since moving to northern California in 1999, I have devoted a major portion of my time to photography.  I seek out nature’s beauty in all its forms, as well as the uniqueness of people in different cultures.  I travel extensively throughout the American West and beyond, as well as overseas.

 

I greatly enjoy the challenge of photography in all its facets: finding a pleasing image with its consideration of composition, exposure, and capturing the magic of light.

 

An additional challenge is the making of a superior print using Lightroom, Photoshop, and Nik as the digital darkroom.  Professional quality prints also demand the use of archival inks and paper, as well 8-ply museum quality matting.
